Compromise

We wanted to go to a movie. 4 people 3 opinions. Later became 2 movies we have to choose from.  I wanted to watch something educational. Kids want something entertaining.  My husband refused to watch an Indian movie he has to read the English subtitle.  There was a moment we decided we weren't going to any movies.

After 30 minutes of thinking, I gave up.  I compromised and watched a stupid movie with them.  Then had Thai dinner plus ice-cream for dessert.  It isn't so bad at all.

Compromise is meeting everyone in the middle.  My goal was to have family time.  And we did it.

Birthday

Today is my birthday! I actually lost count of my age.  I feel young anyway! I did my kriya breathing, meditation...then worked 12 hours.  I actually cried in the early morning with mix feelings.  I am grateful and thankful with everything.  Also concerned with challenges ahead of us.  I really appreciate all of my friends and families birthday wishes and prayers. Nana cooked for coworkers and I bought drinks for them.  Now heading to Taipei to sing happy birthday with my kids, parents, and brother's family.  Rob left to China 5am. What's the reason for being busy, running around.  I wish my life being more meaningful and helpful to others' lives. May god bless and take care of everyone.

Responsibility

Today, I had a talk with a young guy in his early 20th.  Because of his father, this young man joined our company since April.  He is always over sleep. Out of 13 working days of May, there were 8 absence days.  During work time, he takes several cigarettes breaks and would disappear from 11am and no body knows where he went.  He also expressed that he had learned everything. There is nothing he can learn from the QC department anymore. I only talked about working attitude and hopefully everyone would give a thumb up when I ask about how is YC and fighting for having him in their department. I always think attitude is the fundamental of everything.  And I don't take no for an answer. And I will watch him close.  Hopefully he won't disappoint me and his family.   Hopefully he can remember our conversation for the rest of his life.

主題： Awareness ； 覺 Today, in yoga class  , the teacher said " 所有在這的女人， 都做超過了， 所以每個動作到級限了， 必須收一些回來。 Hold 住” Interesting reminder.  Take back a little, reserve for myself. Don't give it all till nothing is left for myself.  When I dry up. Till I die.  After life is over, 還是各走各的。 個人帳 各人算！ Yoga teacher said, your life is to complete your husband, your children.. How about yourself? What's the purpose of my life? When I got sick, I promise to make my life meaningful.  It seems that I forgot about it and focus on our business, daily life, children... Now my test result reminds me again.  How lucky am I to have health as my indicator. I will follow up on that.
